Nancy Blacha

Nancy Carroll Blacha, 68, of Chillicothe, passed away Wednesday morning, September 28, 2016, surrounded by her loving friends at her home, following an extended illness. She was born July 7, 1948, in Middletown, Connecticut, to the late Arthur and Elsie (Skinner) Esidore. On October 16, 1982, she married Michael P. Blacha, who preceded her in death on July 16, 2004. Nancy is survived by her dear brother, Carlo Esidore, one additional brother, one sister, a son, three daughters, six grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; as well as her special friends, Ron and Louise Daigle, Joanna Earls and her children, Hope, Faith, and Grace. Nancy retired in 1996 after working as a social worker for many years, specializing in the S.A.F.E program for substance abuse. She was a member of the Orchard Hill Church in Chillicothe, and loved the time she was able to spend there. In her free time she enjoyed a wide variety of crafting and making candles. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers, friends and family are asked to make donations in her honor to the Ross County Humane Society, 2308 Lick Run Rd #A, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
