Myron Betts

Myron S. Betts Sr. Myron S. Betts, Sr., 81, of Fairborn, OH, died 11:37 am, October 4, 2007 in the VA Medical Center, Dayton, OH, following an extended illness. Military graveside funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, by the US Navy and Evangelist Scott Spencer in the Dayton National Cemetery, under the direction of the Haller Funeral Home. He was born March 13, 1926 in Cleveland, OH to Herbert and Pauline Davis Bettts. Survivors include four sons, Myron Jr., of Cleveland, Michael (Katrina), of Chillicothe, David, of Montpelier, IN, and Matthew (Melissa) Betts, of Raleigh, NC; two daughters, Trina and Wendy Martemus, of Cleveland; 20 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 siblings. Mr. Betts was a former Aircraft Maintenance Technician and served in the US Navy from 1944 to 1969. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fisher House or the American Cancer Society.
