Mont V Steele III, 49, of Chillicothe, left this world on August 22, 2022 after a courageous medical battle, after beating cancer. He joined all of his loved ones that went before him and were waiting for him at the gates of heaven.
He was born in Elyria, Ohio on October 30, 1972 to Mont V Steele and Mildred Ann (Napier) Steele. During his childhood, he spent time growing up in Wayne, West Virginia with his family before they settled in Pike County, Ohio. Mont dedicated his career and life to serving his community. He took his oath seriously and was known for bringing an unmatched professionalism and dedication to his job, and led others to do the same. Those who knew him well would also say that Mont would do anything to help someone in need. He loved his family, including his many pets; his country and his first responder family.
