Monica Wyzalek

Monica J. Wyzalek, 76, of Chillicothe, died at her home Saturday, January 15, 2011. She was born May 3, 1934, in Binghamton, NY, to the late Paul E. and Antoinette M. (Kutz) Wyzalek. Monica received her Bachelors Degree from Harpur College and her Masters Degree from the University of Illinois. She was a Professor of Mathematics and an Associate Professor at Ohio University and the Ohio University-Chillicothe Campuses for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church where she served as a lector and had been a committee member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 10:00am Wednesday, January 19, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. At her request, calling hours will not be observed. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Peter, 126 Church St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
