Monica Adams

Monica Monette (McClary) Adams, 57, of Chillicothe, passed away Friday morning, September 7, 2018, at her home following an extended illness.
She was born December 11, 1960, in Mt. Sterling, Ohio, the daughter of Harvey E. and Carol Lee (Kelly) McClary.
In addition to her father, Monica is survived by her children, Jason (Lena) Caudill, of Chillicothe, Jacob Adams, of Chillicothe, Shawn (Jamie Satterfield) Caudill, of Washington Court House, and Jordan Adams, also of Washington Court House; her grandchildren, Kinsley Caudill, of Washington Court House, Brant Caudill, of Chillicothe, Hunter Caudill, also of Chillicothe, Brittany Cook, of Columbus, Tamara Cook, of Chillicothe, Shay Adams, also of Chillicothe, Mary Jane Adams, of Columbus, Jordan Adams, also of Columbus, Jasta Adams, of Washington Court House, and Marley Adams, also of Washington Court House; her siblings, Jack Shane McClary, of Diamond, OH, and Teresa (Rob) Cason, of Marysville; as well as numerous other family members and close friends. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Aftyn Caudill.
Monica worked as a prison guard for over 31 years at RCI before her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking trips to the beach and going horseback riding.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a visitation on Monday from 4:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home.
