Missy Capera

Melissa "Missy" Capera, 41, of Ray, OH, formerly of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly March 25, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born March 5, 1969, in Pahokee, FL, to Damian and Melba M. Morales Capera. She is survived by her mother, Melba M. Boyer, of Arden, NC; her father Damian (Rosmira) Capera, Miami, FL; her step-father Carlos Dominguez, Miami, FL; brother and sister-in-law Leo (Lisa P.) Capera, Homestead, FL; sisters and brothers-in-law Maria (Jon) Boyer, Arden, NC; Carolyn (Alberto) Benitez, Columbia, SC; nieces and nephews: Venessa D. Capera; Aaron A. Capera; Steven M. Benitez; Albert A. Benitez; Brandon S. Benitez; Danielle M. Boyer; Wyatt E. Boyer; and Franchesca T. Boyer; her former husband, with whom she remained close, Jimmy Harness, Chillicothe; and numerous friends. Missy had worked as a bartender at the Chillicothe Country Club, the Cozy Inn and most recently Taylor's Stag Bar. She had a passion for motorcycles and was a member of the local Harley Owners Group (HOG). The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12-2pm and 5-8pm at Haller Funeral Home. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
