Mildred Glenn

Mildred Lucille Glenn, 93, of Chillicothe, passed away early Monday morning, October 31, 2016, at the Four Seasons of Washington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, following a brief illness. She was born June 15, 1923, in Nelsonville, Ohio, to the late Floyd and Lillian (Searles) Lowery. On April 12, 1941, she married David Glenn, who preceded her in death in August 2004. Lucy is survived by her two sons, David (Julie) Glenn, of NV; and Scott (Cindy) Glenn, of Wilmington; her seven grandchildren, Ronnie, David and Jason Glenn, Holly (David, Jr.) Chapman, Rachel, Daniel and Kathleen Glenn; her four great-grandchildren, Nathan, Anthony, Nathaniel, and Rowan; as well as her canine companion, Toby. Lucy was a former member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Chillicothe. She was the former Craft Director at the Ross County Senior Citizens Center and also served on their board. She enjoyed playing cards, solving crossword puzzles, and will be remembered as an excellent cook. A graveside will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at St. Margaret's Cemetery, with Pastor Steve Schmidt officiating.
