Mike Cunningham

H. Michael "Mike" Cunningham, age 72, passed away on October 5, 2024 at the VAMC-Chillicothe following a brief battle with cancer.
Mike was born on March 25, 1952 in Chillicothe, OH to Hobart W and Doris (Nichols) Cunningham. Mike is survived by his wife, Pamela (Davis) Cunningham, daughter, Heidi Cunningham (Paul Corcoran), step-children, Matthew (Kristi) Davis and Leslie (Zach) Yoder; grandchildren, Cuay McGuire, Judith, Edith, John, Gilbert, Clive, Jane, and Theodore Cunningham; step-grandchildren, Morgan and Lauren Davis, Hudson Kerr, Benjamin and William Yoder; sisters, Mary (Helmut) Heisig and Lynda (Michael) Jones. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Vickie Finley.
Mike graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1970 and served in the US Marine Corps from 1970 – 1973. After completion of his military service for which he was most proud, he was employed by Mead Corporation for 42 years as an electrician. He also worked as a self-employed electrician (Cunningham's Electric) for many years.
Haller Funeral Home will be serving the family. To honor Mike's wishes there will be no formal calling hours or service. Special thanks to the VA Hospice Unit caregivers for the amazing care provided to Mike and the family during the past few weeks. We will be forever grateful to all of you.
