Michele Butler

Michele Butler, 63, of Chillicothe, died 3:28 am Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at her home, following a battle with lung cancer. She was born July 23, 1946 in Kastle, Germany, to Otis and Marie Gagna Bass. On July 22, 1967 she married Dr. Lee M. Butler, who died January 5, 2009. In addition to her mother, survivors include two daughters, Tiffany (Nathan) Baldwin, of Frankfort, and Andrea (Kirk) Rinehart, of Chillicothe; a son, Scott (Rachel) Butler, of Chillicothe; four grandchildren, Julius Lee, Lucas Rinehart, Coen and Maggie Butler; a brother, John (Linda) Bass, of Westerville; two sisters-in-law, Stephanie (Ralph) Hudson and Diane (Greg) Gillen; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Butler was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 7:00 pm Friday, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. The family will receive friends immediately following the Mass at the Parish Hall until 9:30 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Haller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association of Mid-Ohio, 1950 Arlingate Lane, Columbus, OH 43228.
