Michael Charles Wolfe, 68, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon, November 26, 2018, at the Adena Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 20, 1950 in Mason, West Virginia, to the late Charles Henry and Helen Ruth (Hill) Wolfe. On August 18, 1972, he married Joyce (Kiser) Wolfe, and together they shared over 44 years of marriage together.
In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his two sons, Michael Charles Wolfe, Jr., and Paul Harvey (Heather) Wolfe; three grandchildren, Miguel, Carlos, and Nixon Arias; his brother-in-law, John (Judy) Kiser; several nieces and nephews; as well as all of "The Guys" at Tarrier Steel Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Black, and his father and mother-in-law, Harvey and Opal Kiser.
Michael joined the United States Navy in December of 1969. He went on to serve during Vietnam, and became an honorably discharged veteran in February of 1972. Upon the completion of his military duties, he went on to work at the Tarrier Steel Company until his retirement on January 1, 2017. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as going hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
