Michael Thatcher

Michael K. Thatcher Jr., 36, of Chillicothe, died October 29, 2009, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born September 7, 1973 in Circleville, Ohio to Vicki (Jeff McCarty) Thatcher and Michael (Marcia) Thatcher Sr. who survive. He is also survived by his children, Chase Michael and Kayla June Thatcher; sisters, Mindy (Brad Snively) Dailey and Mandy Thatcher; a half-brother, Jimmy Thatcher, a half-sister, Megan Thatcher; aunts, Anita (Clarence) Good, Carol (Mark Renison) Bell, and Loretta Thatcher; uncles, Mike Hanby and Rick Thatcher; several nieces; nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James O. and Dorothy M. Thatcher, Wilma Hanby Wilson; and an uncle, Jack Thatcher. Mike was a 1992 graduate of CHS/PRJVS. He was employed as a supervisor at the Washington Court House Wal-Mart Distribution Center. He was an avid Buckeyes fan, enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting, camping and most recently, kayaking on the Greenbrier River in West Virginia. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Haller Funeral Home with Rev. John Burris officiating. Friends may call 5-8 pm Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Haller's.
