Michael A. Konicki, 66 years old, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025. He is survived by sister Kristina (Randy) Johnson, sister Karen (Tom) Brittingham, several nieces and nephews, and his loving caretaker of 30+ years Lucy Easterday. Michael was predeceased by his parents Albert & Eileen Konicki of Huber Heights, Ohio.
Michael was an avid athlete in high school and a highly skilled auto body repair technician at a Cadillac dealership before patriotically enlisting in the United States Marine Corp. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and co-workers while volunteering his time at the VA. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Chillicothe Veterans Administration for their many years of unwavering support for Michael. A special thank you to Lucy for all the steadfast love & care that never failed.
The family will receive friends at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm followed by Prayers and Military Honors. The burial will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, New Carlisle, OH on Saturday, August 9 at 11:00am.
