Michael Knab

Michael E. Knab, 37, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly Friday, July 16, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born March 4, 1973, in Chillicothe and is survived by his parents Dana and Sharon Knab and Wayne and Connie Grubb. Also surviving is his daughter, Ashley Knab; sister and brother-in-law Jamie and Shane Smith, Columbus, GA; half-brother Brian Streevey, Altamonte Springs, FL; niece and nephew Siena and Sterling Smith; uncles Robert, Terry and Archie Taylor; uncle and aunt Daryl and Robin Knab, all of Chillicothe; cousins Traci (Jon) Click, Kingston; and Brian (Amy) Knab, Charlotte, NC. He was predeceased by his grandparents Harold and Betty Taylor; and Cora and Carl Knab. Mike was a graduate of Unioto High School, Class of 1992 and had worked in construction. He learned to love the outdoors from his time in Boy Scouts. He held precious the time with his daughter and was a good friend to all. Mike never met a stranger. Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm Tuesday, July 20, at the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Fox officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-7pm at Haller Funeral Home.
