Michael W. Henson, 38, of Bainbridge, died unexpectedly at 2:12pm Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Riverside Methodist Hospital following a brief illness. He was born April 6, 1977, in Chillicothe to John W. and Christine A. (Stauffer) Henson. On May 10, 2008, he married the former Roberta S. "Birdie" Noble, who survives. Also surviving are his daughters: Michele "his mouse" Henson and Abby Henson; son Jonathan Henson, all of Bainbridge; his parents, John (Christine) Henson, South Salem; a brother Johnny Henson, Greenfield; a step-son CJ Hughes, of Ft. Towson, OK; mother-in-law and father-in-law Robin and Doug Penisten, Chillicothe; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife, Amy (Smith) Henson; maternal grandparents William and Dorothy Stauffer; and paternal grandparents Jess and Emily Henson. Michael was a graduate of Paint Valley High School, Class of 1995. He owned and operated Down To Earth excavating. He was a devoted husband, father and son. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public services. Cremation services will be conducted by Haller Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to Michael Henson Memorial Fund, c/o Homeland Credit Union, 25 Consumer Center Dr., Chillicothe, OH 45601; or at any Homeland Credit Union Branch. Funds received will establish a scholarship for his children.
