Michael E. Golob, 59, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly following heart complications at home on May 23, 2024.
He was born February 11, 1965 in Chillicothe, son of the late Helen (Ashworth) Watkins.
He is survived by his three beloved sisters, Amy (Richard) Adams, Lisa Ann (Jeff) Boyce, and Rona (Ed) Good; his uncle, Gary Ashworth; special friends, Jeff and Kevin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise Ashworth, and his aunt, Mary Matters.
Michael was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 1983. He went on to work for the Chillicothe Parks and Recreation for more than 30 years. In his free time, he loved watching Ohio State Buckeyes football.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, September 16, 2024 at the Haller Funeral Home, Pastor Roger Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
