In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Michael, Edward, Kevin, and Randall Silcott; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Campbell.
Mike worked as a Sheriff's Deputy for the Ross County Sheriff's Department for more than 20 years, where he also served as Firearms Instructor for several years. He was a devout Christian man, and was a member of the Chillicothe Baptist Church, where he previously served as a deacon. He was a life member of the F.O.P and the N.R.A, and was an avid outdoorsman.
The family would love to see any fond memories of Mike sent to Chillicothe Baptist Church, PO Box 484, or brought to the celebration where there will be a memory basket.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Chillicothe Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Cline officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his honor can be made to Chillicothe Baptist Church International Missions.
