Michael Delong

Michael J. DeLong, 38, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 20, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly L. (Warth) DeLong; daughters Bethany DeLong, Frankfort; Sierra DeLong, Chillicothe; and Brianna Mingus, Chillicothe; his parents John R. and Joyce W. (Whaley) DeLong, of Kingston; his sister and brother-in-law Jennifer (Rob) Cohen, Kingsport, TN; his maternal grandmother Mary E. Whaley, of Circleville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike was a graduate of Zane Trace High School, Class of 1993. He worked for Ross County Courts and the Pioneer Center as an IT Consultant. He was currently serving his country in the US Army Reserves. He enjoyed spending time with his family and children. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, August 24, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Fr. William Hahn, Celebrant. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 1-3 and 5-8pm at HALLER FUNERAL HOME, where a wake service will be held at 8pm.
