Michael Arledge

Michael J. Arledge, 68, of Chillicothe, died February 25, 2012, at his home, unexpectedly. He was born February 2, 1944 in Chillicothe to the late Ralph W. and Jetta M. Byers Arledge. Survivors include his son, Todd (Mary Ellhof) Arledge, of Chillicothe; 6 grandchildren, Christina (Ed) Martin, Zack Mowbray, Shelby Oliver, Mandy, Lindsey, and Devon Arledge; 5 great-grandchildren; special friend, Irene Bowers; and a brother, Steve (Phyllis) Arledge, of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janie L. Oliver; a sister, Cherie Eynon; and brothers, Frank and Ralph Arledge. Mr. Arledge retired as an electrician from the Mead Paper Company in 2007. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 600, was a skilled craftsman, and enjoyed golf. A private family gathering will be held later this week. Calling hours will not be observed. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
