Melvin Steinbrook

Melvin Richard Steinbrook, 63, of Chillicothe, died 4:26 pm, January 25, 2015, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. He was born April 10, 1951 in Chillicothe to the late Mack and Dorothy Magill Steinbrook. On June 21, 1975 he married the former Karen J. Loel, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Shawn and Cassey; a grandson, Jaren; a granddaughter, Sydney; and brothers and sisters, Diane (Dewey) Price, Billie Guysinger, Jackie and Martha (Jr) Strausbaugh, Daniel (Marge), Arioch (Jill), and Mack (Kathy) Steinbrook. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Freida (James) Jones. Melvin worked as a barber with his father for many years and retired from Chilpaco. He loved God and his family. They were the center of his life. He prayed for them everyday. Funeral services will be held 6:00 pm Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Haller's.
