Melissa Annette (Poland) Martin, 56, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Monday, December 11, 2023.
She was born June 23, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of William and Bonnie (Gilbert) Poland. On March 20, 2023, she married her beloved husband, Mark Martin, who survives.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her sister, Jamie (Doug) Collins; 3 nieces; her aunt, Barbara (RL) Jennings; grandmother, Sally Wilson; her uncle, George Gilbert; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Melissa loved spending time at home, taking care of her husband and her cats. She loved exercising, gardening, and dancing.
A celebration of life service is being planned at The Church of Deliverance in Chillicothe the coming weeks.
