Melissa Pauline Hice

Melissa Pauline Hice, 66, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Thursday afternoon, May 14, 2026 at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born January 27, 1960, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Wilber and Florence (Temple) Stevens. On July 31, 1981, she married her beloved husband, Kevin D. Hice, who survives.

Also surviving is her daughter, Misty Janell (Charles) Davis; her grandchildren, Caleb (Fiancée Sarah) Mullineaux, and Morgan (Shawn) Knight; her great-grandson, Jax Mullineaux; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

In accordance with Melissa’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Adena Hospice for all of their love and care over the last several weeks.
