Melinda Oney

Melinda Jo Oney, 55, of Londonderry passed away on Tuesday, March 25,2025, after an eight year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family. She was born November 28, 1969 in Chillicothe Ohio to Jerry J. and Marian C. (Dozer) Oney.

After graduating from Southeastern High School, Melinda attended Columbus State Community College where she received an Associate Degree.  She worked for 25 years years at the Ross County Engineer-Map Room as an engineering aide for 19 years and as Supervisor for 6 years.  She attended the Londonderry Community Methodist Church.

A public graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, April 7th, 2025 at 2:00pm in Londonderry Cemetery.  Pastor Dean Carroll officiating.  Burial of cremains will follow.  Calling hours will not be observed.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Haller Funeral Home.

Melinda will be sadly missed by her family and all of her friends and co-workers.  When you saw Melinda she always made your day a little brighter with her sense of humor.
