Melinda Depugh

Melinda Sue (Martin) DePugh, 48, died on December 6, 2018 in the home of Grace and David Roberts in Chillicothe, Ohio, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Melinda was born on July 18, 1970, in Chillicothe Ohio at the Adena Regional Hospital, to the late Linda Sue Martin and Jack Russell Martin. On June 23, 1990 she married Gregory Alan DePugh, who remained a dear friend and partner until the end.
Also surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Eric (Chelsea) Martin; her daughter and son-in-law, Destiny (Michael) Klinger; two grandsons, Hudson Alan Klinger, and newly born Caden James Klinger; her daughter, Somer Mackenzie DePugh; three brothers, Jack Russell Martin and wife Michele Denise Martin, Randy Alan Martin, and Jeffery Nelson Martin and his fiance Terry Sue Alley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Melinda worked passionately as a nurse ensuring all patients were treated with compassion and dignity from 2004-2017 until the news of her illness.
The family would like to thank the nurses of Burger Hospice for giving her the utmost respect and dignity throughout this difficult time. They also would like to show appreciation for Grace and David who generously donated their home and time to ensure her last days were comfortable and filled with love.
Friends may join the family for a visitation on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Haller Funeral Home from 11:00am-1:00pm. Graveside services will immediately follow at Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating. A wake will follow for family and friends at the local VFW, graciously offered by Bill Eblin.
