Maxine Patterson

Maxine L. Patterson, 86, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord at 5:35am Monday, October 9, 2006, in Heartland of Chillicothe. She was born May 22, 1920, in Pike Co., to the late William M. and Mary Nora (Overly) Maple. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Freda J. (Don) Knisley, Chillicothe; daughters Janice S. Nelson; and Regina J. Patterson, both of Columbus; son and daughter-in-law Rick G. (Marilyn) Patterson, Londonderry; son Randy L. Patterson, Chillicothe; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law Herbert Julian, Chillicothe. She was predeceased by a daughter, Judith Julian; a brother Bernard Maple; and a sister Evelyn Schott. Maxine worked at the Mead Paper Co. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as playing the piano and singing in church, while her health permitted. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor John Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Allen Chapel Cemetery.
