Matthew Scheeler

Matthew David Scheeler passed away surrounded by family on Sunday August 11, 2024, at the age of 57. Matthew was born in Chillicothe, OH on January 10, 1967, to Timothy and Maralee Scheeler. He married his wife Brendaester Switzer on February 14, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda, sons, Alejandro (Samantha) and Leonardo (Kaitlyn), his grandchildren, Catalia, Tyler Matthew, and Benjamin, his parents, Tim and Maralee Scheeler, his brother Mike (Melissa) Scheeler, his niece, Lindsay (Will) Soler and their son Lincoln, his sister-in-law, Leomery (Pablo) Switzer, and his best friend of 48 years, Doug (Missy) Matheny. He will also be sadly missed by his many other family and friends.
Matthew grew up in Chillicothe and graduated from Chillicothe High School before joining the United States Air Force.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Haller Funeral Home. Prayers will begin at 7pm, followed by cremation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 118 Church Street, followed by burial at St. Margaret Cemetery.
