Mary West

Mary Kathryn (Williams) West, age 82, of Bainbridge, OH, passed away at 11:45am October 4, 2013. She was born August 18, 1931, in Washington C.H., Fayette Co., OH, to the late Herschel and Frances (Harley) Williams. On January 4, 1951, she married Melvin W. "Jack" West in Hillsboro, OH. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, daughter Marilyn Kay West and Billie Jo (West) Jones; a great-grandson, Robert "Bobby" Wells; and 2 brothers George and John Williams. Surviving are her son Melvin (Elizabeth) West, Jr.; her daughter Brenda Sue (Stephen) Dickey; a friend who was like a daughter Mari Kirchgessner; a special niece/caregiver Ragina (Williams) Six; a brother Marty (Ella) Williams; 6 grandchildren: Tim, Anita, Jeremy, Carisa, Melvin "Chip," and Kathryn; 2 step-grandchildren: Kaylea and Morgan; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-granchildren and many friends. At her request, private services will be held at the convenience of the family following cremation, under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
