Mary Shoemaker

Mary E. Shoemaker Mary E. Lloyd Shoemaker, 88, of Chillicothe died 2:40 pm Monday, August 8, 2005 in her home following an extended illness. She was born July 5, 1917 in Ross Co. to John and Sarah Mace Lloyd. In 1936 she married Leroy Shoemaker, who preceded her in death in 1987. Survivors include a daughter, Kay (Tom) Binns, of Chillicothe; four sons, Tom (Dee) Shoemaker, Max (Judy) Shoemaker, Rex (Barbara) Shoemaker, Jay (Peggy) Shoemaker, all of Chillicothe; eight grandchildren; thirteen step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Kathryn Friedli, and Lois Bernard, of Chillicothe, and Helen Hall of Pasadena, CA; two brothers, Bob Lloyd of Circleville and Gordon (Kathleen) Lloyd of Williamsport, OH. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters, Jessie Lloyd, Silas Lloyd, Frances Kempton, Beatrice Schreiver, Jane Higley, Mildred Wickensimer, and Edward Lloyd. Mrs. Shoemaker attended the Bourneville Church of Christ and was a member of the Friendship Club. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Mike Free officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call 12-2 Thursday at Haller's. Memorial contributions may be made to The Bell Tower in Bourneville.
