Mary K. Saxton, 95, of Grove City, formerly of Chillicothe, died at 10:50pm January 4, 2018, at Brookdale Senior Living in Grove City. She was born April 22, 1922, in Chillicothe, to the late Anthony and Carrie (Frey) Geyer. She was the widow of Robert E. Saxton, who died in WWII. Surviving are her son Robert D. Saxton, of Columbus; grandchildren: Cheryl Saxton and her special friend Ronnie Stanley, of Grove City; Mark Saxton, of South Carolina; great-grandchildren: Mallory (Cody) Wimer and Kirkland Saxton; and a great-great-grandson Quinn Wimer. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister Rosetta "Rosie" Geyer; and brothers: Clarence and Richard Geyer. Mary was a member of Walnut St. UMC and an avid Ohio State fan. She had worked at the former Britt's Dept. Store and the Skate-A-Way. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday, January 8, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Private burial will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery on Tuesday.
