Mary E. Reese Mary E. Reese was called home to Glory September 5, 2008, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, following a short illness. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday in the Original Glorious Church of God in Christ, 123 W. Main St., Chillicothe, with Pastors Obadiah Harris and Lonny Keene officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 pm Thursday in the Haller Funeral Home, Chillicothe. She was born February 26, 1947 to the late Oscar and Katherine Lynch. On September 18, 1976 she married George Reese Jr., who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Charla Y. Robinson, of Reynoldsburg; two sons, William "Jay" (Vicki) Jackson, of Canal Winchester and George (Acrila) Reese, of Columbus; two granddaughters, Ashley Jackson and Jordyn Rogers; two grandsons, B. J. Richardson and Darryll McCoy; a host of nieces, nephews and special friends, including Pat Shepherd, whom she treasured like a sister; numerous cousins, including special cousins, Rose Hamrick, Howard Raines and Clarence Lee. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Maughmer and Carol Beverly; a brother, Leonard Lynch; and an infant son, Montevon Robinson. She was a faithful member of Kingdom Christian Center, Columbus, Pastor Lonny Keene. She gave her life to Christ at the young age of nine. She was blessed to play the organ and piano. She graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1965 and was employed by Nationwide Insurance, Columbus. She was greatly loved by her family and will be missed by all. "O woman great is thy faith; be it unto thee even as thou wilt." Matthew 15:28 Her reward for her faith was Eternal Life.
