Mary Miller

Mary Louise Miller, 87, of Chillicothe, died 2:40 pm, September 13, 2013, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. She was born March 4, 1926 in Dayton, OH to the late Robert L. and Caroline Krug Dyke. On August 2, 1944 she married Walter Miller, who died November 3, 1990. Survivors include her daughters, Donna Kyle, Linda (Patrick) Kinsel and Kathy (Bob) Hendren, all of Chillicothe, and Kellie (Pete) Guillery, of Louisiana; a grandson, whom she raised, Brian (Stephanie) Miller, of Chillicothe; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy (Roger) Hall, of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband; five children, Douggie, Elaine, Walter Jr., Claudia and David; a grandson; a granddaughter; and a brother, James Dyke. Mrs. Miller loved to play Canasta and was the Fire Captain of her floor. She was a member of St. Peter Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Wednesday, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Friends may call 5-7 pm Tuesday at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME, where a wake service will be held at 7:00 pm.
