Mary Mccoy

Mary Jean McCoy, 85, of Waverly, died 12:30 pm May 28, 2017, at Signature Healthcare of Chillicothe.   She was born May 7, 1932 in Ann Arbor, MI, to the late Harold and Mary Keen Schneider. Survivors include two sons, Walter (Ruth Heuer) Noski, of Goodyear, AZ and John (Charlie Chandler) Nosek, of Waverly, OH; grandchildren, Seana Green, Trevor Hamilton, Krista Holloway, Lacy Puhl, Lindsay Burr and Dakota Chandler; and great-grandchildren, Stown, Anika, Chase, Madie, Tegan, Bailey, Akira, Alissa, Aria, Ethan, Isabella and Aiden.. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Richard Noski and John McCoy; and a brother.   Mrs. McCoy retired as an accountant with the US Air Force and US Forestry Service. She had a lifelong dedication to veterans and logged in excess of 1400 hours of volunteer time with the Pike Co. Veterans Service Office. She loved riding motorcycles, was a former member of the American Motorcycle Association, and rode as recently as last year. She loved to travel, camp and visit family members.   Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pike Co.
