Mary Grace Malone, 84, of Canal Winchester, died 4:23 am, Sunday, June 26, 2011, at her home, unexpectedly. She was born June 20, 1927 in Chillicothe to Orlando and Louisa Detty Coon. On January 19, 1944 she married Joseph B. Malone, who died November 21, 2008. Survivors include a daughter, Karen K. (Randall) Boring, of Canal Winchester; sons, Joseph K. (Mary Ann) Malone, Utica, and Bryan K. (Sandie) Malone; grandchildren, Camelia (Ronald) McClure, Alena (Stewart) Lowery, Keith Brian (Angela) Malone, Tonya (Brian) Shipp, Michelle (Scott) Tuten, Stephen (Cindy) Rogers, and Bryan (Kelly) Malone; 19 great-grandchildren; a great, great-granddaughter; 3 sisters, Martha Bethel, Betty Dennewitz, and Barbara Coon; a brother, Franklin (Jean) Coon; sisters-in-law, Osie Deal, Margaret Malone, Helen Malone, Ruth Keyser, and Mary Anna Johnson; and brothers-in-law, Arnold Musick and Luther Malone. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Coon and 2 sisters, Carolyn Coon and Harriet Musick. Mrs. Malone was a member of the Bartlett Bible Baptist Church. She was the owner of the Joe's Texaco on US 23 South for 31 years. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the Haller Funeral Home, with her grandson, Keith Brian Malone officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden. Friends may call 5-8 pm Tuesday at Haller's.
