Mary Jones

Mary Jane Jones, 96, of Chillicothe, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 7, 2018, at Heartland Nursing Home in Chillicothe, following an extended illness. She was born July 27, 1922, in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Elmer Buschnel Dyer and Corrine (Ackley) Dyer. Mary worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital for many years, where she saw the benefits and need of Anatomical Donation first hand. That experience gave her the desire to help those in need, and helped her make the decision to pursue donation for herself.
In accordance with her wishes, Mary was accepted into the Ohio State University Anatomical Donation Program in Columbus, Ohio. There will be no public services or calling hours.
