Mary Howard, 94, of Chillicothe, died May 1, 2023 at the Adena Regional Medical Center.
She was born January 27, 1929 in Magoffin Co, KY, to the late German and Maudi Hewlton, She married James E. Howard, who died March 5, 2016. Survivors include two children, Patricia (Rick) Stokes, Ft. Myers, FL and Dwayne F. Howard, Chillicothe; two grandchildren, Ashley Howard, of Chillicothe and D.J. Howard, of Columbus; a great-grandchild, Gracen Mosley; and three siblings, Ruth Estep, Floyds Knobs, IN, Fred Helton, Clarksville, IN and Donna Freeman, Arkansas.
Mrs. Howard retired from the Hungtington High School, where she worked as a cook.
Following cremation, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
