Mary Green

Mary Ruth Green, 75, of Jackson, OH, died 5:20 pm, Saturday, September 15, 2012, at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 7, 1937 in Kentucky to the late Elza and Izzie Adams. Survivors include 2 daughters, Joetta (Jack) Barnett, of Jackson and Margie (Dave Stewart) Short, of Chillicothe; 2 sons, Mike Martin, of Chillicothe and Timothy Martin, of Jackson; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary K. Martin; 2 sons, Gary and Tony Martin; a brother, Charles Adams; and a sister, Sylvia Jenkins. Mary enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Adena Health Foundation, Friends of Hospice, 111 W. Water St., Chillicothe, OH 45601 or to Haller Funeral Home to help with expenses.
