Mary Francis

Mary Lou (Creachbaum) Francis, 82, of Chillicothe, OH, passed away at 1:15 a.m. on July 15, 2023. She was born on February 4, 1941 to the late Robert and Pansy (Ice) Creachbaum.   On May 10, 1963, she married the late F. Gary "Frosty" Francis.   She is survived by her 3 children: Jeffrey Francis (Chillicothe), Lee Ann Webb (Circleville) and Mark (Chelsy) Francis (Chillicothe); her 4 grandchildren: Kacy (Bryan) Davenport (Woodbury, TN), Holly (Josh) Davenport (Woodbury, TN), Ashton (Ephraim) Monaghan (Brooklyn, NY) and Carson Francis (Chillicothe); her 3 sisters: Phyllis Vogel (Venice FL), Vera (Neal) Radcliff (Chillicothe) and Carol (Charlie) Doan (Vermillion, OH); her brother-in-law- Paul (Lani) Francis (Chillicothe), as well as David (Stephanie) Mash (Chillicothe), who was like another son to her.   Mary Lou attended Southeastern High School. The family relocated to Cincinnati, and she graduated from Reading High School. In college she began working for The Kroger Company and later retired from Kroger.   She was a member of the First Wesleyan Church.   Mary Lou loved Jesus, her family, sports, a good crossword puzzle, cookbooks, and the beach. She was a wonderful storyteller, listener, and friend.   Family and friends can pay their respects at the viewing from 10am - 11:30am on Saturday, July 22, at the First Wesleyan Church, located at 89 South Mulberry St. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:30am officiated by Pastor Rob Collins.
