Mary Evans

Mary Inez Wright Evans, born February 9, 1935, went to be with the Lord on May 22, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Verna and Bruce Wright; children, Richard, James and Carlene Scott; and a grandson, Charles Scott. Survivors include daughters, Victoria (Aaron) Church, of Whitehall and Penny (Stephen) Church, of Cardington, OH; sons, Charles (Brenda) Scott, of Chillicothe, Robert Scott, of Apple Valley, CA, and Terry (Virginia) Scott, of Hubert, NC; a brother, William (Pam) Wright, of Wheelersburg, OH; sisters, Joe Ann Hager, of Pomona, CA, Joyce (Earl) White, of New Boston, OH, and Judy Tolbert, of Portsmouth, OH; 24 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild that will miss her very much; and several nieces and nephews that she loved. I know God needed another angel, so he took our mother because she was the best. Mary was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She loved and enjoyed being surrounded by her family. She had a witty personality and an amazing sense of humor, which she passed on to her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She has forever touched those that love her. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
