Mary Dennewitz

Mary Y. Dennewitz Mary Y. Dennewitz, of Chillicothe, died March 14, 2007 at her home, following an extended illness. She was born August 5, 1938 to Norman J. and Mary E. Martin Mullineaux, in Baltimore, MD. On June 17, 1956 she married Gerald L. Dennewitz, whom she loved and cherished. She was the loving mother of 3 children, Tammy (Jesse) McCray, Larry (Sherry) Dennewitz and Jarrod (Lauren) Dennewitz, all of Chillicothe. Mary loved and nurtured seven grandchildren, Joshua, Nicole, Nathan, Danielle, Isabelle, Samuel and Phobe, all of Chillicothe. She had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including a special friend of several years, Mary Fink. Also surviving is a sister, Charlotte Surrett, of North Carolina, Helen Mullineaux, of Texas; and a half brother, Roger Mullineaux, of Chillicothe. She was preceded in death by her mother; father; sisters, Patricia Hurd and Anna Assali; and a half-brother, Thomas Mullineaux. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm March 17, 2007 in the Haller Funeral Home, Pastor Willard McCray officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
