Mary Imogene Barnett, 79, of Bainbridge, died at 12:10pm, Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at home. She was born May 6, 1926, in Athens, OH, to the late Andrew L. and Jessie M. Hoisington Poole. On June 12, 1948, she married Joseph M. Barnett, who preceded her in death on February 4, 2005. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Patricia C. (John) Friel, Chillicothe; sons and daughters-in-law Paul D. (Lisa), Piketon; Thomas N. (Debra), Chillicothe; Aaron M. (Sherry), Blythe, CA; William E. (Roseanne), Bainbridge; and Mark A. (Chrystal)Barnett, La Grange, NC; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a sister Verna L. Delaney, of Dayton. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by sons Samuel L. and Charles P. Barnett; daughters Dicie A. and Gwendolynn M. Barnett; and a brother Robert E. Poole. Mrs. Barnett was a member of McKibben Chapel Church in Nipgen. She taught Sunday School most of her life, including 23 years at McKbben Chapel where she was Ross Co. Sunday School Teacher of the week. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday, December 12, with Rev. James McCain officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30pm in Centerville Washington Twp. Cemetery, Centerville, OH.
