Mary Arnold

Mary Lou Arnold, 83, of Frankfort, died 11:20 am, January 6, 2015, at the Valley View Alzheimer's Care Center, following an extended illness. She was born May 19, 1931 in Chillicothe to the late Ernest T. and Mary Richardson Banks. She married Luther Arnold, who died in 1989. Survivors include a son, Phillip (Angela) Gordon, of Chillicothe; a sister, Sue Carol Lee, Chillicothe; a brother, Robert Banks, Frankfort; four grandchildren, Whitney, Luke, Hank, and Haven Gordon; a brother-in-law, Tom Lee; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Marketa Vannoy. She was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Hammond and an infant daughter, Jessica; brothers and sisters, James Banks, Ernestine Stidoms, Carl Banks, Ron Bayless, Beverly Johnson and Betty Ann Kelley. Mrs. Arnold retired as a nursing assistant in Middletown, OH. Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, Bishop Melvin Maughmer officiating. Calling hours will not be observed.
