Martha Howell

Martha Mae (Tackett) Howell was called home by the Lord and her loving husband, Adrian Howell on April 14, 2011 at 9:00 am, following an extended illness, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Martha was born December 26, 1929. On December 2, 1947, she married her love and lifelong friend, the late Adrian Howell, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was 2 brothers, 7 sisters, and a son-in-law, Larry T. Potts. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Angela Potts, Peggy (Kallous) Certain, and Doris (Bill) Jones, all of Londonderry; 6 grandchildren, Tammy (Rick Adams) Williams, Larry (Leann) Potts, Kallous (Desera) Certain, Martha (Joshua Lutz) Certain, Kevin (Stephanie) Kellar, and Brittany (Derek Bragg) Kellar; 11 great-grandchildren, Courtley, Leah, Alexis, Laurren, Larra, Josie, Mya, Adrian, Madison, Kaden, and Bronson; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Howell owned and operated Howell's Market in Londonderry for 30 years. She was a loving mother and wonderful grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. May you rest in peace Mamaw and Mommy—we love you. Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Monday at the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Jerry Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call 2-8 pm Sunday or 11:00 am Monday, until the hour of the service at Haller's.
