Martha Louise "Lolly" Clotts of Olean, NY, formerly of Dublin, OH, passed away Tuesday April 2, 2013 in the Pines Health Care and Rehab Center in Olean where she was a resident for the past two and a half years. Martha was born November 8, 1923 in Baldwin, KS, and grew up in Aimes, IA. She was the daughter of the late George and Martha Lorenzen Bretnall. Martha was a graduate of Aimes Iowa High School and attended Iowa State University. In July 1959, she married Theodore R. "Ted" Clotts who passed away September 13, 2010. In 1961 she and her husband Ted moved to Chillicothe where they spent five years before moving back to Columbus, OH. She was involved with the Printing Industry as a Vari-Typist type setter and proof reader. She was employed at Columbus Duplicating, later at Ohio Printing, and retired from Kreber Graphics. Surviving are three children; Cheryl (Pat) Simpson of Pinehurst, NC; Carol (Jim) Stitt of Olean, NY; and David Clotts of Westerville, OH. Her grandchildren; Scott (Vicki) Simpson of Ada, OK; Matt (Ann) Simpson of South Bend, IN; Megan (Chris) Fereday of Cedar Falls, IA; Jim (Suzanna) Stitt, and John (Connie) Stitt both of Olean, NY; Michelle (Charlie) Neff and Mark (Trish) Clotts both of Columbus, OH; twenty great-grandchildren; and two sisters; Jean Melvin of Des Moines, IA; and Mildred Long of Evans, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and parents, and two brothers-in-law; Keith Melvin, and Robert Long. Family and friends will be received Friday April 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mother of Sorrow Chapel in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. with entombment immediately following under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation, 120 N. Union Street, Olean, NY, 14760.
