Marshall A. Beish, 76, of Chillicothe, formerly of Zanesville, passed away December 26, 2016, at Heartland of Chillicothe. He was born August 31, 1940 in Philipsburg, PA the son of the late Marshall I. and Alice (Duck) Beish. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Marshall retired from the Glatfelter Paper Company where he was a laborer for numerous years. Many will remember Marshall as an avid NASCAR and Ohio State Buckeye football fan. Marshall is survived by his spouse, Betty M. Welch Beish; his three daughters, Angelia (Kevin) Raney, Stella (Samuel) McGraw, and Vanessa Beish, all of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Samantha McGraw and Amanda (Nathan) Thacker; his great-grandchild, Rickey Thacker; several step-children; step-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul (Linda) Beish and Philip Beish, both of Newark, OH; a sister, Gloria Jean (Larry) Lee, of Jacksonville, FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Robert Beish. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and Heartland of Chillicothe for all their devoted care during his last days. The family wishes to honor Marshall's last request, to be cremated with no calling hours or public service. The family will hold private graveside services in the Zanesville Memorial Park, Zanesville, OH at their convenience.
