Marsha Ann Routt, 71, of Chillicothe, passed away early Friday morning, February 16, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family, following a brief battle with cancer.
She was born December 4, 1952 in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Ronald "Bud" and Janet Eilene (Park) Rutherford. On May 19, 1990, she married her beloved husband, Edward E. Routt who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Nicole Fogler, Amanda (Sean) Donovan, and Tiffany (Josh) Snyder; grandchildren, Keegan Snyder, Darby Fogler, and Davy (Eddie) Fogler; siblings, Laura (Vaughn) Wilson and Ronald (Sherri) Rutherford; her beloved K-9 companion, Skye; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roger "Shag" Rutherford.
Marsha was a private individual who loved her family fiercely. She kept to herself but loved spending time outdoors tending to her flowers, watching the birds, and watching her grandson play baseball.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the National Church Residences Hospice group or to the Ross County Humane Society.
