Marsha M. Hatfield, 58, of Chillicothe, died at 4:35pm June 18, 2006, at Ohio State University James Cancer Center following an extended illness. She was born October 10, 1947, in Ross Co. to the late Charles F. and Ruth Marie (Shepherd) Shewalter. On April 12, 1989, she married David R. Hatfield, who survives. Also surviving are her son and daughter-in-law Joseph (Carrie) Bartlett, Chillicothe; three step-children Angela (Blaine) Speakman; David Michael Hatfield, and Ann (Alan) Moore; 13 grandchildren: D'Artagnan, Kayla, Garret, Josh, Elizabeth, Isaiah, Matthew, Tiffany, Stephanie, Ganelle, Houston, Aiden, Addison; a sister Judy Tyo; a brother Bob Shewalter, both of Chillicothe; and a special friend Nancy Lewis. She was predeceased by her parents and a granddaughter, Galitaya Bartlett. Marsha was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Choir and the Rebecca Circle. She assisted as a volunteer in the soup kitchen at the church. Marsha worked at CHILPACO for 15 ½ years. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Thursday, June 22, at the First United Methodist Church, 585 E. Main St., with Rev. Charles Case and Rev. Dana Hakes officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8pm Wednesday at Haller Funeral Home.
