Marlin J. Snyder, 48, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly July 15, 2005, at his residence. He was born October 1, 1956, in Chillicothe, to Jerome D. and Carolyn M. (Waugh) Snyder. Surviving is the love of his life, Marla Snyder, Chillicothe; his son Jeremy Snyder, Dayton, OH; his daughter Lindsey Snyder, Memphis, TN; step-son Eric Southers, Chillicothe; his father Jerome D. Snyder, Chillicothe; a grandson Dakota Southers; brothers Darryl Snyder, Altoona, PA; and Mike (Cathy) Snyder, Chillicothe; nephews Joshua (Tiffany) Snyder, Paul Michael Snyder, and Jason Snyder; other family members David Carroll, Thelma Carroll, John Carroll, Randy & Kim Riddle, Reg & Deanita Carroll, Darren Carroll & Kim Slopko and their families; and many special friends from the horse trail. He was predeceased by his mother, Carolyn M. Deem. Marlin was the owner/operator of Snyder Excavating and Mobile Home Transport. He was a graduate of Southeastern High School Class of 1975. He will be remembered for his love of horses and his ability to train horses with patience. He will be sadly missed, as he was always there to help out a friend. He had a strong love for life. The life of Marlin Snyder was left, but is not lost, but will stay forever lived through the lives and hearts of the ones he loved! Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, July 20, at the Haller Funeral Home with Jeff Kempton officiating. Burial will follow in Allen Chapel Cemetery.
