Dr. Marlene A. Domo, 74, died unexpectedly at 6:30pm December 3, 2016 at the Ohio State University Medical Center. She was born February 21, 1942, in Cleveland, OH, to the late Lawrence and Mary (Veres) Zabroski. Surviving are her children: Elaine (Greg) Seimer, Maureen (Joe) Zupi, Paul (Jenni) Domo, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Lindsey (Jon) Green, Megan Zupi, Christian Payne, Nick Zupi, Emmalynne Domo, Christopher Domo and Madison Seimer; a great-grandson Carter Green; a sister Patricia (Tom) Hertrick, Elyria, OH; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Marlene was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She loved her family and her pets whole-heartedly. She was passionate about education as demonstrated by her earning a Doctorate in Philosophy in 1989 and teaching at all levels, including: Bishop Flaget School, Ohio University-Chillicothe and Shawnee State University. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Saturday, December 10, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Rev. Sean Dooley, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. At her request, calling hours will not be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either: St. Peter Church, 285 W. Water St., Chillicothe, OH 45601; or the Ross Co. Humane Society, 2308A Lick Run Rd., Chillicothe, OH 45601; or a charity of choice.
