Mark James Hudec, 59, of Chillicothe, passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, August 22, 2011. He was born on September 14, 1951, in Cleveland, OH to the late John and Lillian (Rericha) Hudec. He grew up in North Canton, OH, and Hillsboro, OH, before moving to Chillicothe, where he was employed at Kenworth Truck Co. for 36 years. Mark was a diehard Cleveland Browns and Indians fan who enjoyed golfing, grilling, gardening, and watching cooking shows on TV. He was a generous man who always put family first. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and dependable personality. Loving family, who will miss him dearly, include his children and their families: Paul (Keri) Hudec and their daughters Allison and Katelyn, all of Columbus; April Lightle and her children Isaac and Alexis, all of Chillicothe; and Jenny (Michael) Spohn and their son Eli, all of Grove City, OH; a brother Chris Hudec and his daughter, Melissa, of Castle Rock, CO; sister-in-law Sandy Hudec and her daughter Meghan, of Chambersburg, PA; an aunt Anna May Woods, of Loretto, TN; and Linda Hudec, his friend and former wife. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and Kevin Hudec. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, August 27, 2011, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
