Marjorie Weaver

Marjorie L. Weaver, 78, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord at 5:45am Tuesday, August 1, 2006, in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness. She was born May 23, 1928, in Vinton Co. to the late Raymond R. and Audrey L. Stewart Detty. On June 14, 1947, she married Lawrence F. Weaver, who preceded her in death January 10, 1985. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law John (DyAnna) Weaver, Circleville; Terry (Kimberly) Weaver, Chillicothe; Thomas (Tina) Weaver, Chillicothe; daughter and son-in-law Marla (Stephen) Eberle, Bainbridge; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law Ray (Pearl) Detty; Marvin (Geneva) Detty; Hershel (Peg) Detty, all of Chillicothe; James Detty, Palm Springs, CA; sister and brother-in-law Beryl (Merle) Bethel, Allensville, OH; sister Alice Andrews, Albany, OH; a brother-in-law Jack Temple, Chillicothe; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Pansy Temple. Marjorie was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she belonged to the Naomi Ruth Circle. She retired from Kenworth Truck Co. and was a past president of the Kenworth Retirees. She also worked for the Chillicothe Zoning Board and a volunteer with the Ross Co. Board of Elections. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday, August 5, 2006, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Case officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Friday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Westmoreland Alzheimer's Unit, c/o Susie Graves-Director, 230 Cherry St., Chillicothe.
