Myers where she worked for several knitting shops, including the Lagniappe Shoppe. After her husband's death she moved to Bristol Village, Waverly, where she worked 16 years volunteering at The Nook shop. She also enjoyed the Creative Needles club, serving has chairperson most recently. She loved to read and knit. If she wasn't reading, she was knitting items for family and friends. In fact, "she spent her whole life loving and caring for her family and friends, and she was the best at it." A friend wrote in her high school year book something that summed up her life, "There couldn't be a friend truer;" and Marjorie remained friends with several folks in the various cities in which she lived. Private graveside services will be held Thursday in Grandview Cemetery, under the direction of the Haller Funeral Home. Calling hours will not be observed. The family will have a gathering in her honor at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bristol Village Foundation, Resident Care Fund, 660 E. 5th St., Waverly, OH 45690-1551.
